It is possible to sleep with all romantic companions, except Sebastian, in a single game. Sleeping with any of the companions does not prevent the development of other romances. However asking either Anders or Merrill to move in after sleeping with them will deactivate the romance flags of all other characters, and remove critical flirt lines from their dialogue.

In the Basics section, we already expounded on the depth of the game's relationship system and if you are keen on understanding your companions, then you've come to the right place for guidance.

The achievement "A Friend in Need" Gozque be earned by upgrading any of the companions' armor merienda. "I Got contact me Your Back" can be earned by completely upgrading the armor of one of the party members, except for Bethany and Carver, who each only have one upgrade that Gozque be applied through Hawke.

The Hawke family saved her, which allowed her to be a selectable companion onwards. Her husband, however, was corrupted by the Darkspawn and died during their escape from Lothering.

Importantly, those you don't choose to have a relationship with might wind up dating each other—like how Dorian and The Iron Bull had an alluded-to relationship in Inquisition if neither were with the Inquisitor.

Some companions may pursue relationships with each other if not actively romanced by Hawke; if Hawke does not romance both Isabela and Fenris, or if their romance has already ended, they start a relationship with each other in Act 3.

Being a mage it is easy to annoy Anders if you side with the templars. Siding with mages will obviously give you rise in friendship.

Execution – Put Anders in your party and contact me head off to the Gallows Dungeon. Make your way through the tunnels until you come across Ser Alrik. After a short conversation, Anders will lose control of Justice and go a little crazy. When the battle is over you will have to deal with the following conversation carefully.

Gifts still influence friendship and rivalry, but the number of gifts in the game has been significantly reduced from Dragon Age: Origins. Companions react differently to gifts depending on their friendship/rivalry score.
